Greetings from Bucksport!

At long last, things are beginning to feel more normal after COVID.   Like all communities, there have been many changes in retail and commercial merchants and activities here – and, we have welcomed many new residents to town, a positive development.

Bucksport persevered and Town Government & generous citizens helped our merchants get through the pandemic – thank you for that! We made it, but not without some pain.

Wednesday On Main has had two solid seasons since COVID shut us down in ‘20 & ‘21.  Thank you to our supporters, sponsors, visitors, devotees and volunteers for bringing back this summer event series.  It means a lot and brightens our days – much needed.

2024 is looking great – we have a terrific lineup of performers, starting with our perennial season opener Frogtown Mountain Puppeteers on June 5th.  Suitable for ages 4 to 94!

You’ll enjoy a little bluegrass, a little classical, some Barcelona, some pop, some Americana, and a load of fun.  See our schedule of events for the 2024 season below.

With gratitude,

Paula
